The National Conference on dissemination and implementation of Resolution No. 66-NQ/TW and Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW, taking place on May 18 and 19, 2025 at the National Assembly Building, Hanoi, is not only an important political event but also a milestone marking the transformation of the Vietnamese private economic sector in the technology era.
Among the 22 enterprises participating in the exhibition "Achievements in private economic development and booths displaying products of private enterprises," many technology units left a strong impression, demonstrating the capacity for technological autonomy and the aspiration to bring Vietnam to the world.
Demonstration of human-carrying drones
CT Group, one of the selected exhibitors, brought innovative technology solutions, demonstrating the long-term thinking and endogenous capacity of the private sector.
The event was not only an opportunity for CT Group to showcase its achievements, but also a testament to the increasingly important role of private enterprises in the national innovation ecosystem. General Secretary To Lam’s direct visit to CT Group’s booth affirmed the recognition from senior leaders for the group’s contributions.

At the exhibition, CT Group demonstrated three pioneering technological solutions. First, CT UAV's man-carrying drone model attracted attention with impressive parameters: Speed of 190 km/h, continuous flight time of 2 hours, and operating range of 350 km.
This technology not only marks a step forward in smart transportation but also demonstrates the potential to change the landscape of Vietnam's urban infrastructure. After the successful testing of the 1/6 scale model, the full-size version is expected to launch in October 2025, promising to bring an environmentally friendly and efficient transportation solution.
Second, CT Semiconductor’s semiconductor chip factory, which started construction on phase 2 in Binh Duong on April 30, 2025, is a strategic step in mastering core technology. This factory, expected to operate from the fourth quarter of 2025, aims to produce 100 million ATP chips per year by 2027.
Notably, CT Semiconductor spends more than 10% of its budget on research and development (R&D), focusing on areas such as AI, 6G, and unmanned aerial vehicles.... This is a testament to its orientation to not only participate in but also lead the global semiconductor market.
Finally, this unit also affirms its pioneering role in the green economy through the ASEAN Carbon Credit Trading Platform (CCTPA). With a comprehensive ecosystem from emission measurement by UAV (CarbonFly), automatic inventory via the Sustain.Life platform to ESG consulting, CCTPA supports businesses to access the international carbon credit market. This solution not only helps Vietnam to stay ahead of the sustainable development trend but also creates a competitive advantage in global trade.
The Foundation for Digital Transformation and AI
With the open technology ecosystem C.OpenAI, CMC brings to the exhibition breakthrough AI solutions, the result of a systematic investment in R&D. Mr. Nguyen Trung Chinh - Chairman of the Board of Directors and Executive Chairman of CMC, emphasized: "CMC not only develops business but also makes substantial contributions to the national technological autonomy capacity, accompanying the Government in the goals of Resolution 68."
The C.OpenAI ecosystem integrates more than 25 core technologies, including Computer Vision, LLM, Voice Processing, and Datalakehouse. CMC's C.Face facial recognition technology is ranked Top 12 in the world by the US National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), leading in Vietnam.
Solutions such as C.OCR (SmartDocs) have been applied at Vietnam Social Security, Honda, and TH Group, demonstrating the ability to implement in practice.
In particular, CMC introduced two pioneering medical AI solutions: C-Health, which uses video sensors to analyze health indicators through facial images, and C-Aid, a chatbot that supports remote diagnosis and healthcare, opening up medical access opportunities for disadvantaged areas.

CMC also undertakes two key national tasks: CLS – an AI legal assistant that helps review conflicts in legal documents and CMC Cloud – a pure Vietnamese cloud computing platform with more than 25% domestic market share.
CMC Cloud, which meets Uptime Tier III and international security standards, is an important digital infrastructure that helps reduce dependence on foreign technology. In addition, CMC is deploying a chain of super-scale Data Centers with a total capacity of more than 50 MW, aiming to turn Ho Chi Minh City into Asia's Digital Hub.
In the field of human resources, CMC aims to train 15,000 AI engineers by 2033 through the Institute - School - Enterprise model with CMC University as the high-tech training center.
FPT 'popularizes' AI
At the exhibition, FPT demonstrated a typical AI technology product ecosystem that demonstrates the vision and efforts to implement Resolutions 66-NQ/TW and 68-NQ/TW into practice.
Mr. Nguyen The Phuong - Deputy General Director of FPT emphasized: "We strive to develop high-quality human resources by introducing AI into the education program from grade 1 to improve awareness and early skills for the young generation. This model contributes to forming a team of technology-savvy human resources, meeting the development needs of the digital economy. In addition, FPT researches and develops core technologies; Typically, the FPT.AI platform currently records more than 200 million users per month, affirming the capacity of Vietnamese enterprises to research, develop and apply AI core technology."

FPT is a pioneer in popularizing AI, implementing the “Day of AI” program in collaboration with MIT, applicable to students from grades 1 to 12 at FPT Schools. This program, with 100% of teachers trained in AI, has been ranked by MIT in the Top 5 in the world in terms of the number of participating teachers. FPT also popularizes AI to the community through training programs for more than 10,000 teachers and 500 Youth Union officials. At FPT University, nearly 1,700 students majoring in AI are trained according to international standards and intern at partners.
At the exhibition, FPT also introduced CodeVista - Agentic AI programming assistant that helps increase productivity for programmers, and AI Camera solution applied in more than 1,700 businesses and 150 retail chains./.
