Non-mobile services also maintained the No. 1 position, including fixed broadband (FTTH) with 43% market share; multi-platform television with 8.6 million customers, accounting for 31.2% market share.

Notably, foreign revenue grew by 20.5%, maintaining a high growth rate for 7 consecutive years, 5 times higher than the industry average in the world. Natcom excelled in taking the lead in Haiti, helping Viettel hold the No. 1 position in 6 foreign markets, including Natcom in Haiti, Metfone in Cambodia, Unitel in Laos, Mytel in Myanmar, Telemor in East Timor, and Lumitel in Burundi.
Speaking at the 2023 Military-Political Conference of Viettel Group, Party Central Committee member and Minister of Information and Communications Nguyen Manh Hung said that in the context of general difficulties in the industry, Viettel Group achieved a growth rate of 5.4% and foreign telecommunications grew by 20.5%, which is a high level. Viettel has been very successful in the fields of telecommunications and high-tech industrial research and production.
“Viettel will have to become a global digital technology corporation, actively participating in digital transformation and green transformation. Viettel should create technologies and platforms for others to use to create products and services for society,” the head of the Ministry of Information and Communications emphasized.
Regarding the 2024 target, Major General Tao Duc Thang, Chairman and General Director of Viettel, expressed his determination to increase the Group's consolidated revenue by 7.2%; continue to improve the efficiency of foreign investment, with a return on investment rate of 84%; ensure 4G coverage equivalent to 2G and convert all 2G subscribers to 4G before September 2024.
In addition, maintaining the No. 1 position in data center and cloud market share; promoting the provision of information security services internationally; applying AI extensively; deploying Digital Twins solutions for smart urban management; officially announcing the 5G device ecosystem manufactured by Viettel and promoting international business; developing green energy equipment products; providing comprehensive solutions for cross-border logistics and deploying the Vietnam - China intermodal railway route./.
