Vietnam women's team awarded 500 million VND after winning ticket to the final

That is the bonus that the VFF Standing Committee gave to coach Mai Duc Chung and his team for reaching the final of the women's football event of the 32nd SEA Games after a 4-0 victory over the host team Cambodia on the evening of May 12.

After the AFC Standing Committee meeting and the draw ceremony for the 2023 Asian Cup finals in Qatar, VFF President Tran Quoc Tuan flew back to Cambodia to watch the semi-final match of the Vietnamese women's team.

After the match ended, he went down to the field to congratulate head coach Mai Duc Chung and members of the Vietnamese women's football team, and announced that the VFF Executive Committee would reward the team with 500 million VND for reaching the final of the 32nd SEA Games women's football match. Chairman Tran Quoc Tuan encouraged the whole team and told them to stay healthy and continue to prepare carefully for the women's football final against Myanmar on May 15, 2023.

This is also the third consecutive SEA Games that the Vietnamese women's team has reached the final match.

Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan shook hands and congratulated the players.

Defeating Cambodia in the semi-finals, the Vietnamese women's team entered the final of women's football at the SEA Games for the third consecutive time.
