Previously, from November 20 to 24, taking advantage of the sunny weather, La Ee Border Guard Station deployed 5 teams, 75 officers and soldiers to help people harvest upland rice in Dac Ngol, Pa Lan and Pa Ooi villages (La Ee commune). The households that received help were all poor and single-parent families. Timely support for harvesting, drying and storing helped people secure their assets against the risk of losing everything due to prolonged heavy rains.

Lieutenant Colonel Dinh Cong Anh, Head of La Ee Border Guard Station, said: “In recent days, prolonged rains, floods, rising water levels, and landslides have forced many households to evacuate and many households have not been able to harvest their crops, making life very difficult. Taking advantage of the sunny days, we went down to help people rebuild their houses, harvest, dry rice, and transport it home for storage. This work demonstrates the responsibility and affection of officers and soldiers of La Ee Border Guard Station towards the local people, contributing to strengthening the solidarity between the army and the people at the border.”
