Phong Dien Town leaders presented flowers to congratulate Phong Hai Border Guard Station on the occasion of the 50th anniversary meeting.

Phong Hai Border Guard Station was established on May 7, 1975 and went through many different names, of which from May 1975 to March 1977 it was called the 50 Huong Dien People's Armed Police Station.

After 50 years of construction and development, Phong Hai Border Guard Station is currently responsible for protecting the sovereignty and security of the northern coastal border of the city, including 5 communes and wards in Phong Dien town and Quang Dien district...

Recently, the unit has successfully implemented many projects, movements, programs and models to help people develop their economy and society, notably "Spring in the borderlands and islands - Tet with love between the army and the people", "Helping children go to school", "Borderlands - Full Moon Festival", contributing to participating in and building a strong local political base, building a strong national defense posture, border posture and a strong people's border defense; contributing to firmly protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security in the new situation.

During the process of construction and operation through the stages, Phong Hai Border Guard Station was awarded many certificates of merit by the Border Guard Command, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the City Party Committee, the People's Committee of Hue City and local levels and sectors; always maintaining the leading flag in the emulation movement of the armed forces.
