Provincial Party Secretary visits and congratulates some military units

On the afternoon of December 19, the working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province, led by Comrade Doan Minh Huan, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, visited and congratulated the Provincial Border Guard Command and the 12th Corps Command on the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 34th anniversary of the National Defense Day.

Accompanying the delegation were: Colonel Dinh Cong Thanh, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command; Nguyen Hoang Ha, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of the Provincial Party Committee Office.

Presenting flowers and congratulating officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard Command, the Provincial Party Secretary affirmed: The Border Guard is the core force assigned the task of firmly protecting the sovereignty and security of the coastal border in the province.

Over the past years, the Provincial Border Guard has been united, unified, excellently completed assigned tasks and actively contributed to firmly protecting the sovereignty and security of the maritime border, maintaining security and order in the area.

The provincial Border Guard also coordinated with the Party Committees and local authorities where the troops were stationed to build a strong political base, secure control, and at the same time, do a good job of mass mobilization, helping people develop socio-economy, eliminate hunger and reduce poverty.

On the occasion of the 79th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 34th anniversary of the National Defense Day, the Provincial Party Secretary wished the officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard Command to continue to promote tradition, unite and strive to excellently fulfill the tasks assigned by the Party, State and People; continue to perform well the task of protecting the sovereignty and security of the maritime border and be a solid support for the People.

Visiting and congratulating the 12th Corps Command, the Provincial Party Secretary was pleased that the 12th Corps had just been restructured on the basis of the predecessor units with glorious traditions of the 1st and 2nd Corps.

In particular, the Corps has chosen Ninh Binh as its military base and headquarters. This once again affirms Ninh Binh's strategic defense position throughout the history of national construction and defense.

Sharing the joy with officers and soldiers of the 12th Corps on the occasion of the Traditional Day of the Vietnam People's Army, the Provincial Party Secretary hoped that in the coming time, promoting the tradition of "Speed, Victory", the Corps would continue to closely coordinate, assist and accompany the Party Committee, government, army and people of Ninh Binh province to complete the national defense and military tasks in the area, firmly protect the independence and freedom of the Fatherland in the new situation; well implement the military rear policy, contributing to building the homeland and country increasingly rich and civilized.
