Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai holds the position of Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th term.

Pursuant to the Law on the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and implementing the Politburo's direction on personnel work, on the afternoon of November 7, the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front held the 5th Conference of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th tenure, in Hanoi.

Attending the Conference were Politburo members: Tran Cam Tu, Standing member of the Party Central Committee Secretariat; Do Van Chien, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee, former Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central mass organizations, former President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central mass organizations.

Also attending were Party Central Committee members: Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, General Secretary, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Fatherland Front, Central mass organizations; Ha Thi Nga, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; Nguyen Dinh Khang, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor; Luong Quoc Doan, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam Farmers' Union ; Nguyen Thi Tuyen, Vice President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, President of the Vietnam Women's Union.

The conference listened to comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Ha announce the Politburo 's opinion on the personnel introduced to comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai for consultation to elect the Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th term; listened to the report of the Presidium on the addition and replacement of personnel participating in the Committee members, Presidium members, Standing Committee and holding the position of Chairman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th term, 2024-2029.

Accordingly, based on the Charter of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the Politburo's decision on personnel work, with a high sense of responsibility, democracy and solidarity, the Conference focused on discussing and completed the proposed program.

The conference unanimously agreed to elect comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, and central organizations to participate in the Central Committee, the Presidium, the Standing Committee, and hold the position of Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, 10th term, 2024-2029.

In her acceptance speech, comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai expressed her honor to be elected by the 10th Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front to hold the position of Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.

Comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai gave a speech accepting the assignment.

“This is an honor and also a great responsibility that the Party and the Vietnam Fatherland Front have entrusted to me. First of all, I would like to express my sincere and deep gratitude to the members of the Presidium who introduced me and the members of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front who have trusted and believed in me,” said comrade Bui Thi Minh Hoai.

According to Chairwoman of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Bui Thi Minh Hoai, over the 95 years of formation and development, founded and led by the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh, the Vietnam Fatherland Front has been continuously consolidated and strengthened, increasingly affirming its important role and position in the political system and people's lives.

Emphasizing that as the successor, with the role and responsibility as the head of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, he will make every effort, together with the Standing Committee, the Presidium and the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, to unite and unify leadership, promote the role and responsibility of the Front and mass organizations, make practical contributions to the cause of great national unity, and continue to affirm more clearly the role and position of the Front in the new revolutionary period.
