
The conference was chaired by Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung, member of the Standing Committee of the Central Public Security Party Committee and Deputy Minister of Public Security.
Attending the conference were comrade Le Hai Binh, alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism ; representatives of the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Committee of Hung Yen province, the Vietnam Olympic Committee, national sports federations, along with leaders of units, coaches and outstanding athletes of the People's Public Security force.

The conference aims to comprehensively evaluate the performance results in 2025, commend outstanding collectives and individuals, and deploy key directions and tasks in 2026, contributing to promoting the physical training and sports movement in the People's Public Security force, actively contributing to the overall achievements of the country's sports.
The year 2025 is considered a strong development step of the Vietnam People's Public Security sports. Under the close direction of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security , directly by General Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security, Chairman of the Vietnam People's Public Security Sports Association, sports movements in the force have been deployed synchronously, effectively, and widely spread.

The Vietnam People's Public Security Sports Association plays a key role in implementing domestic and international cooperation programs, improving the training and coaching levels and competition quality of high-performance sports. During the year, the association accompanied and supported athletes participating in 81 domestic and international sports competitions, winning 620 medals, including: 233 gold medals, 165 silver medals and 222 bronze medals.
At 64 domestic tournaments, the People's Public Security sports teams won 206 gold medals, 151 silver medals, and 202 bronze medals; at 17 international tournaments, they won 27 gold medals, 14 silver medals, and 20 bronze medals.
Notably, at the 2025 World Police and Fire Games held in the United States, the People's Public Security sports delegation participated in 11 competitions including shooting, athletics, swimming, martial arts and fire prevention, firefighting and rescue, winning 15 gold medals, 4 silver medals and 6 bronze medals.

Among the outstanding athletes honored are Ngan Ngoc Nghia (athletics) and Trinh Thu Vinh (shooting) - two typical faces who are contributing to raising the position of Vietnamese sports in the international arena.
At the World Police and Fire Games, Ngan Ngoc Nghia won Gold Medals in the 100m and 200m men's events. Trinh Thu Vinh won Gold Medal in the 10m mixed pistol women's individual event. Both continue to be on the list of participants in the upcoming 33rd SEA Games in Thailand.
In addition, athletes Hoang Linh Chi (swimming) and Nguyen Ngoc Tram (karate) were also honored with impressive gold medals.
Speaking at the conference, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh highly appreciated the results that the People's Public Security Sports achieved in 2025, considering this a direct contribution to the implementation of the Politburo's resolutions on developing physical training and sports in the new situation. The activities of the People's Public Security Sports Association have contributed to encouraging the movement of physical training and sports among the people, while creating a model of a professional and scientific organization.

Speaking at the conference, Senior Lieutenant General Pham The Tung commended the achievements of the Vietnam People's Public Security Sports Association in the past year; and emphasized the key tasks that need to be implemented in 2026.
Deputy Minister Pham The Tung affirmed that the 2026 goal of the People's Public Security Sports is to strive to be among the top 6 units at the National Sports Festival, while at the same time firmly preparing for the roadmap to host the World Police and Fire Fighting Games in the coming time.
With the close direction of the leaders of the Ministry of Public Security, the accompaniment of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and domestic and foreign partners, the Vietnam People's Public Security Sports Association continues to affirm its position as a pioneer in the physical training movement, contributing to improving national sports achievements and spreading the spirit of physical training following the example of great Uncle Ho.
