CAND Sports has many contributions to Vietnamese sports.

VHO - On the afternoon of November 7, the conference to review the work in 2025 and deploy tasks in 2026 of the Vietnam People's Public Security Sports Association (CAND) was held at the PVF Youth Football Training Center Hall - Ministry of Public Security (Nghia Tru commune, Hung Yen province). Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh attended.

Also attending were Deputy Minister of Public Security Pham The Tung and Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Than.

Speaking at the Conference, on behalf of the leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Permanent Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Le Hai Binh sent congratulations and sincere thanks for the efforts and endeavors, with all the sense of responsibility of the Police Sports Association in the recent past.

Appreciating the achievements of the People's Public Security Sports Association, the Deputy Minister emphasized that the vibrant activities of the People's Public Security Sports Association have contributed to building the force so that each person in the People's Public Security is a manifestation of bravery, discipline, humanity and the image of the People's Public Security soldier is increasingly beautiful in the hearts of the people at home as well as international friends.

For the sports movement of the whole country in general, CAND sports has actively contributed to implementing the Resolution of the Politburo on taking care of people's health by organizing exciting tournaments such as running, swimming, marathon, pickleball... contributing to creating a vibrant atmosphere, encouraging the sports movement among all classes of people.

The Deputy Minister also assessed that the Public Security Sports has contributed to raising the level and creating positive competition in competitions and training between localities, units and athletes. From there, it has created a vibrant emulation movement to further improve the achievements of Vietnamese sports.

The model of professionalism and effective operation of the Association will also be a model for other federations and associations to learn from, improve efficiency and raise the level of their activities. CAND Sports also contributes to bilateral and multilateral foreign affairs activities, helping to enhance the image of Vietnam in the international arena.

The Ministry of Public Security awarded Certificates of Merit to collectives and individuals with many contributions to CAND sports.

Emphasizing that 2026 is an important year for sports in implementing the Vietnam Sports Development Strategy to 2030, with a vision to 2045, the Deputy Minister hopes that the Association will promote its achievements to continue promoting the sports movement in the entire force, closely linked with the emulation movements of the Ministry of Public Security, the Campaign "All people exercise following the example of great Uncle Ho".

At the same time, strengthen the training of coaches, athletes, referees, sports management staff and especially discover and promote talents to continue achieving high results in regional, continental and world arenas; manage members well, enhance the application of science and technology in training and competition. On the side of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Deputy Minister affirmed that the Ministry and the Vietnam Sports and Physical Training Department will always accompany the Association.

The Deputy Minister believes that under the attention and close direction of the Central Public Security Party Committee and the leadership of the Ministry of Public Security, the Public Security Sports will achieve better results in the coming time.

The conference aims to comprehensively evaluate the performance results in 2025, commend outstanding collectives and individuals and deploy a number of key tasks in 2026, contributing to promoting the development of the CAND sports movement, contributing to the country's sports industry.

In 2025, the Vietnam People's Public Security Sports Association accompanied and supported athletes participating in 81 domestic and international sports tournaments, winning 620 medals (including 233 gold medals, 165 silver medals, 222 bronze medals). At 64 domestic tournaments, the People's Public Security Sports Association won 206 gold medals, 151 silver medals, and 202 bronze medals. At 17 international tournaments, it won 27 gold medals, 14 silver medals, and 20 bronze medals.

The CAND Sports Association also participated in the 2025 World Police and Fire Games in Birmingham (USA) with 44 coaches and athletes competing in 11 events: shooting, athletics, swimming, martial arts and fire prevention and rescue activities, winning 15 gold medals, 4 silver medals, and 6 bronze medals.

Also in 2025, the Vietnam Police Sports Association will work and implement a memorandum of understanding with the Vietnam - Japan International Exchange Organization (FAVIJA), coordinate with the Department of Political Work and Hanoi City Police to send police coaches and athletes to Japan for training, education and sports exchanges...

The conference also announced the Association's personnel restructuring and admitted new members.

At the conference, the Ministry of Public Security announced the decision to reward 22 collectives and 44 individuals of the People's Public Security Sports for their outstanding achievements in 2025, announced the completion of the Association's personnel, and admitted new members.

In which, T&T Group and SHB Bank received certificates of merit from the Minister of Public Security for their contributions to organizing the 2025 ASEAN Police Football Tournament. Mr. Do Vinh Quang, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of T&T Group, became a member of the Executive Committee of the People's Public Security Sports Association.

At the Conference, Comrade Pham The Tung, Deputy Minister of Public Security, affirmed that the Public Security Sports Department has many important tasks in 2026, focusing on building PVF Stadium, building a modern Public Security Sports Training and Competition Center, implementing a sports movement in the entire force, connecting with the masses, planning a sports training and coaching network in the Public Security Department, identifying strong sports, and making strategic and long-term investments...
