Comrade Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, extended his congratulations to the religious leaders, monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers in Kien Xuong district.

On the occasion of the Buddha's Birthday celebration - Buddhist calendar 2569 - Gregorian calendar 2025, on the afternoon of April 26th, Mr. Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, visited and congratulated Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns, and followers in Quang Binh commune and Kien Xuong town (Kien Xuong district). Accompanying him was Mr. Lai Van Hoan, Provincial Party Committee member and Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

Provincial leaders visited and congratulated Venerable Thich Thanh Duc, Vice Dharma Chief of the Vietnam Buddhist Association and abbot of Ngai Pagoda in Quang Binh commune, and Venerable Thich Thanh Vuong, Deputy Head of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Buddhist Association of the province and abbot of Quan Am Pagoda in Kien Xuong town.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Comrade Nguyen Tien Thanh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, wished the religious leaders, monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers a joyful, peaceful, and happy Vesak celebration. He acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions and support of the religious leaders, monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers to the socio -economic development and national defense and security of the province in the past.

The leaders of Kien Xuong district congratulated Venerable Thich Thanh Duc, Vice Dharma Chief of the Vietnam Buddhist Association and abbot of Ngai Pagoda in Quang Binh commune.

The comrade expressed his wish that Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns, and followers continue to strive to effectively implement the Party's guidelines and policies, and the State's laws; actively participate in patriotic emulation movements and campaigns launched by the government and the Fatherland Front at all levels. In particular, he encouraged participation in the emulation movement to build "Four Exemplary Temples," contributing to the building of national unity; unifying will and action, and better implementing the motto: "Buddhism - Nation - Socialism," working together with local Party committees and authorities to successfully carry out political tasks, especially the task of rearranging and merging administrative units, streamlining the apparatus, and contributing to building a more civilized, prosperous, and beautiful Thai Binh province. The religious leaders expressed their deep gratitude for the attention given by the Party committees and authorities at all levels to Buddhist activities in the past; and pledged to continue to uphold the fine traditions of Buddhism, actively encourage monks, nuns, and Buddhist followers in the area to compete in labor and production, actively participate in social activities, and build a clean and strong Party and government.
