Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dinh Thi Lua attended the National Great Unity Day in Dong village, Hoang Tay commune.

On the morning of November 12, comrade Dinh Thi Lua, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, attended the National Great Unity Day and the Military-Civilian Cultural Festival in Dong village, Hoang Tay commune (Kim Bang).

Also attending were comrade Nguyen Minh Tien, member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission; leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, and Standing Committee of Kim Bang District Party Committee.

In the joyful and exciting atmosphere of the festival, delegates together reviewed the traditions of the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day.

Dong village has 352 households with 1,025 people. In 2024, with many positive solutions in transforming the structure of crops and livestock and developing industries, services and trade, people's lives will gradually improve. Average income per capita is estimated at 81.5 million VND/person/year; the rate of poor households has decreased to 1.7%; the rate of well-off and rich households is 58.5%.

Cultural life has many positive changes. Through the 2024 assessment, the rate of cultural families in the village reached 98%, an increase of 3% compared to 2023, contributing to building Hoang Tay commune to meet the model new rural standards in 2024. The Dong Village Front Work Committee actively coordinated with village leaders and organizations to propagate and mobilize people to build smart villages. Along with that, thoroughly grasp, deploy and strictly implement the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies on local defense work.

Based on the achieved results, in 2025, the Dong Village Front Work Committee will continue to coordinate with village leaders and organizations to propagate and mobilize people to join hands and hearts to successfully carry out socio -economic development tasks and local defense work.

Speaking at the festival, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Dinh Thi Lua affirmed: After many years of organization, the National Great Unity Festival, celebrating the anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front, has become a cultural beauty in the community. This year's festival has a special meaning when taking place in the context that the whole country is striving to successfully implement the goals and tasks of socio-economic development in 2024, towards welcoming the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term and the 14th National Party Congress; welcoming the success of the 10th Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029. The festival is organized in conjunction with activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Festival to further promote the solidarity between the army and the people, firmly consolidating the great national unity bloc; contribute to propaganda,education , strongly arouse patriotism, pride, and tradition of solidarity of the Vietnamese people.

Regarding the tasks in the coming time, the Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested the Party Committee, leaders, and the Dong Village Front Work Committee to continue to thoroughly grasp and effectively implement the Resolution of the 20th Provincial Party Congress and the resolutions of the Party Congresses at all levels for the 2020-2025 term. Strengthen propaganda and mobilize people to actively participate in patriotic emulation campaigns and movements; effectively implement the Law on Democracy at the Grassroots Level, ensuring the motto "People know, people discuss, people do, people inspect, people supervise, people benefit". Cadres and Party members must be truly exemplary, modest, close to the people, understand the people, help the people, learn from the people and be responsible to the people to build the village to develop more and more, and improve the quality of people's lives.

On this occasion, 16 poor and near-poor households of Dong village received gifts from the Provincial Party Committee; Hoang Tay Commune People's Committee also awarded Certificates of Merit to 10 typical cultural families of Dong village.

At the festival, the Dong village Front Working Committee launched a patriotic emulation movement in the community in 2025.
