On the morning of November 13, the Executive Committee of Gia Thuan Commune Trade Union, Dong Thap province held the first extended Executive Committee meeting, term 2025 - 2030.

At the conference, delegates heard a report on the establishment of Gia Thuan Commune Trade Union and the direction and tasks for the 2025 - 2030 term. Accordingly, the total number of grassroots Trade Unions upon reception was 6 units, with 5,956 union members and more than 350 workers.

Delegates discussed and agreed on a number of key tasks in the coming time, focusing on developing union members, building a strong union organization, improving the quality of collective negotiation and dialogue, participating in building and proposing policies and laws related to workers; at the same time, promoting the application of digital transformation in all activities of grassroots unions, contributing to improving the effectiveness of representation, care, and protection of the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers.

The conference also voted to approve the summary report on Gia Thuan Commune Trade Union activities for the 2023-2025 term and the directions and tasks for the 2025-2030 term, with 14 main targets and 9 groups of tasks and solutions.

At the conference, the Organizing Committee announced the Decisions of the Standing Committee of the Dong Thap Provincial Labor Federation on the appointment of the Executive Committee, the Inspection Committee and key positions of the Gia Thuan Commune Trade Union for the 2025 - 2030 term. Comrade Vo Van Nho was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of the Commune Trade Union for the 2025 - 2030 term.

At the same time, the Decision on allocating 3 delegates to attend the 1st Dong Thap Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030, was announced.
