When the ferry docked at My Phuoc islet, visitors could see many types of fruits and many new and unique fruit varieties grown in Ke Sach district, beautifully displayed at 14 booths of communes and towns. Each locality has its own typical fruits and agricultural products, notably specialty fruits such as: purple star apple, pink plum, mangosteen, rambutan, green plum, green-skinned grapefruit, To Nu jackfruit, monthong durian, crow apple banana, green strawberry... Visiting the display booths, visitors were invited to try the fruits and could buy them as gifts, at reasonable prices.

After visiting the fruit display booths, visitors can enjoy a variety of typical dishes of the people of My Phuoc islet, such as banh xeo, banh khot, banh bo, banh la, rice dishes, pho, hu tieu... After looking at the fruits and enjoying the dishes of the islet, visitors can join in the folk games held right in the Garden River Festival such as: duck catching, walking on monkey bridge, kicking soccer into the goal, especially with the duck catching game, the children are extremely excited and eager to participate.

Comrade Cao Minh Thom - Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Ke Sach District (Soc Trang) said: "The My Phuoc Islet Garden River Festival on the 5th day of the 5th lunar month is an annual cultural activity organized by the district, aiming to promote My Phuoc Islet garden tourism. Through that, it introduces the special fruits of the freshwater region, delicious dishes of the river region and My Phuoc Islet sightseeing spots. In addition, during the festival, the district also organizes and serves cultural, artistic, sports activities and traditional folk games for tourists to have fun and relax after hard working days as well as to attract more and more tourists to My Phuoc Islet".
