The race attracted more than 2,500 athletes from nearly 70 countries. The message of “Smoke-free race” was conveyed along the entire race route, through volunteers, through the participating athletes and LED screen systems in major cities such as Hanoi , Da Nang and Ho Chi Minh City.

The organizers said this is an important step to contribute to raising public awareness, reducing the burden of disease and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
The highlight of this year's race is the collaboration between the Organizing Committee and the Tobacco Harm Prevention Fund to implement the "No Smoking Outdoor Space" model along the entire race route.

At the exhibition booth of the Tobacco Harm Prevention Fund, many athletes came to check in, draw pictures, write commitments, and support the smoke-free race...
Designed with an open and friendly concept, the booth stands out with its dominant green color, symbolizing health, hope and a clean environment. The exhibition space combines Hanoi heritage elements with a modern breath, bringing a traditional yet familiar experience to visitors.

Here, athletes and guests are invited to participate in many interesting interactive activities such as games to raise awareness about the harmful effects of tobacco, painting with the theme “No tobacco – forever green heritage”, or checking in with media icons. Small but meaningful gifts – notebooks, hats, and promotional key chains – are handed out, as a message about a healthy, smoke-free life.
The “Smoke-Free Heritage” booth is not only a sideline activity, but also a symbol of the spirit of connection between sports , health and culture.
