Ao Dai performance "Women of the Capital - Integration and Development" in 2025

With the theme “Ao Dai Dance – Colors of the Capital’s Women”, the 2025 Ao Dai performance program has the participation of nearly 600 delegates from ministries, departments, central branches, city leaders, ao dai designers, models, families, and representatives of all classes of women in the capital, including female civil servants, female students, female migrant workers, cadres, women’s union members, etc.

Speaking at the program, President of the Hanoi Women's Union Le Kim Anh emphasized that in the context of increasingly strong international integration and cultural exchange, the ao dai is still an outfit closely associated with the lives of every woman and Vietnamese people, from students, civil servants, public employees, singers, actors, models to ordinary workers, men and women can all wear the ao dai in important ceremonies or in the family, clan, community, when working or walking on the street.

At the same time, Ao Dai is also a favorite costume in international events, contributing to promoting Vietnam to the world . Wearing Ao Dai is not simply a choice of clothing but also shows love and respect for traditional culture.

In the journey of preserving and promoting heritage values, the quintessence of national culture - Ao Dai is also the cultural identity and the Vietnamese people, gentle but sophisticated, simple but noble, ancient but modern, the pride of the Vietnamese people.

At the program, the Ao Dai collections honor traditional cultural values, creativity in promoting traditional values in contemporary Ao Dai designs; honoring the beauty of women with Ao Dai; promoting the brand identity of the Women's Union with Ao Dai costumes of designers and units.

These are Do Trinh Hoai Nam ao dai brand; Y Van Hien ancient costume brand; Loi Tam ao dai brand; designer David Le and designer Huong Beful, performed by both professional actors and models along with members, women and families in the capital.

Especially, the folk dance performance of 350 members of the Capital's Women's Union on the songs "For Your Smile" and "Hanoi's Constructions" expressed the spirit of integration and development, the dynamic, healthy and youthful beauty of Hanoi women.

With the messages "Hanoi - City for Peace", "Pride of Vietnamese Women's Ao Dai", "Shining Vietnamese Ao Dai", "Charming Hanoi Ao Dai", "Colors of Capital Women", the activities in the Ao Dai Mass Performance Program "Capital Women Integration and Development" in 2025 have brought new colors, honoring the value of Ao Dai in social life, honoring the elegant and civilized beauty of the Capital's women.

Thereby contributing to promoting the cultured, civilized and modern capital, affirming its position as an attractive and friendly destination to domestic and international friends; at the same time honoring and spreading the Ao Dai to become a typical representative cultural heritage of Vietnam.
