The project has a total investment of 8 billion VND from the National Target Program for Socio -Economic Development of Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas, starting in April 2023. After 9 months of construction, the contractor has completed the following items: Construction of a transformer station in Huoi Song village with over 5km of 35Kv line and 1.2km of 0.4Kv line. The project was completed 5 months ahead of schedule compared to the contract signed between the contractor and the investor (Economic - Infrastructure Department of Dien Bien Dong district). The project provides electricity to 73 households and 1 kindergarten in Huoi Song village.
Huoi Song village is the last village of Hang Lia commune to be covered by the national grid. The completion and use of the household electricity system in Huoi Song village helps Hang Lia commune meet the fourth criterion on electricity in implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Development.
