Successfully energized the project of upgrading the cross-section of the 220 kV Bao Loc

The project to upgrade the cross-section of the 220 kV Bao Loc - Di Linh Station line was completed after a period of intense construction.

The project has a total line length of over 29,535 km (single-circuit and double-circuit lines), starting at 110kV Route 172, 220/110kV Bao Loc station and ending at 110kV Route 171, 110/22kV Di Linh station.

The project passes through the following localities: Loc Son ward and Loc Nga commune (Bao Loc); Loc An commune (Bao Lam); Hoa Ninh commune, Dinh Trang Hoa commune, Lien Dam commune, Tan Chau commune and Di Linh town (Di Linh).

The project has a scale of 125 foundations that need to be renovated and expanded, requiring large-scale compensation and site clearance. With a total investment of over 116,365 billion VND, the project is being implemented in complex mountainous terrain conditions, with unpredictable weather, but still ensuring progress, quality and absolute safety during construction.

Automatically controlled power grid

Putting the project into operation is of utmost importance, contributing to enhancing the operational reliability of the 110 kV grid, ensuring safe - stable - continuous power supply for the southern region of Lam Dong province; properly implementing the orientation of the Lam Dong province's power grid development plan for the period 2016 - 2025, with a view to 2035; ensuring the transmission of power from the 230 kV Bao Loc Station to the 110 kV Di Linh Station and transmitting power from regional hydropower plants more effectively, reducing power loss and pressure on existing lines.

The completion of the Project to Upgrade and Increase the Cross-section of the 220 kV Bao Loc - Di Linh Station Line has realized the strategy of building a smart - modern - sustainable power system, aiming to serve customers better and better in the digital transformation and green development period, a strong commitment to accompany the locality in the socio-economic development, especially in the southern districts of Lam Dong province.

It is known that this is one of the projects that the Southern Power Corporation chose to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Southern Power Corporation. Up to now, Lam Dong Power Company has completed 2/2 projects to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Southern Power Corporation.
