Accordingly, since the beginning of the year, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Lam Ha district has actively coordinated with the Steering Committee for Temporary Housing Eradication of the district and commune to review, compile a list and complete the dossier. Up to now, 42 houses have been completed with a total amount of VND 2,160 billion drawn from the Temporary Housing Eradication Fund of the province and district.
Within the framework of the program, Lam Ha district has given support money to build temporary and dilapidated houses for 42 households. It is known that the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses is one of the important programs in the sustainable poverty reduction strategy of Lam Dong province in general and Lam Ha district in particular. To promote this movement, in recent times, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lam Ha district has launched a call for businesses, philanthropists, children of the homeland living across the country, all cadres, members, union members and people to join hands to strive to achieve the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the area.
Speaking at the program, comrade Nguyen Van Tan - Standing Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Lam Ha district praised and highly appreciated the initiative, responsibility and determination of the Party committees, authorities, Fatherland Front and mass organizations of the district in implementing the work of supporting the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses. He requested that in the coming time, it is necessary to continue to promote the tradition of solidarity, overcome difficulties, and be determined to successfully implement the goals and plans set out in the following years.
For families receiving support money to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses, he hopes that this will be a necessary condition for households to have safe and secure housing, contributing to improving the quality of life and sustainable poverty reduction. Eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses not only improves living conditions but also motivates poor households to rise up and be more independent in life, contributing to the sustainable development of Lam Ha district.
