The operation of the second machine increases the total capacity of the station to 80 MVA, helping to ensure sufficient power supply for Long Thanh airport during operation. The project also contributes to reducing the 22 kV power supply radius, reducing power loss, improving voltage quality and enhancing the reliability of power supply to the surrounding area.

In recent times, Dong Nai Electricity Company has ensured stable electricity supply for the construction of Long Thanh airport, with an average output of about 730 thousand kWh/month, equivalent to the usage of a large industrial enterprise in the province. Currently, the main power source for the construction area is supplied through two lines of Binh Son 110kV substation and Cam My 110kV substation.
