Dong Ha: Applying digital signatures to civil servants and public employees who do not hold leadership positions before June 30, 2025

Implementing the Project "Developing applications of population data, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period of 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030" in Dong Ha City, by June 30, 2025, the city strives to have 100% of civil servants and public employees handling work in the online environment and using digital signatures to handle work according to the country's development requirements.

In Official Dispatch No. 1004/UBND-VHKH&TT dated May 12, 2025, the People's Committee of Dong Ha City requested that specialized agencies, units under the city and People's Committees of wards deploy the issuance of official digital signatures for all civil servants and public employees who do not hold leadership positions and do not have digital signatures.

The City People's Committee noted that the implementation of digital signatures does not apply to civil servants and public employees who are subject to early retirement or resignation according to Decree No. 178/2024 of the Government.

Previously, on March 18, 2025, the Provincial People's Committee issued Plan No. 44 on implementing the Project "Developing applications of population data, identification and electronic authentication to serve national digital transformation in the period of 2022-2025, with a vision to 2030" in Quang Tri province.
