Northern region

The price of live pigs today (December 16, 2024) in the Northern region continued to be stable as yesterday. Currently, the price of live pigs in this region is fluctuating from 63,000 - 65,000 VND/kg.

Provinces and cities such as Hanoi, Vinh Phuc, Thai Nguyen, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, Bac Giang and Thai Binh all reached the highest transaction price in the country at 65,000 VND/kg. Meanwhile, the two provinces of Yen Bai and Nam Dinh had the lowest price of live pigs in the region at 63,000 VND/kg.

Central Highlands region

Similarly, the price of live pigs today (December 16, 2024) in the Central Highlands region recorded no price adjustment in the provinces and cities. Currently, traders in the Central region are purchasing live pigs at around 62,000 - 64,000 VND/kg.

Of which, the price of live pigs in Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Lam Dong and Binh Thuan is being sold at 64,000 VND/kg, the highest in the region. On the contrary, the provinces of Quang Tri, Thua Thien Hue, Quang Nam and Khanh Hoa have the lowest price of live pigs in the region at 62,000 VND/kg.

Southern region

Along with the above two regions, the price of live pigs in the Southern region today (December 16, 2024) recorded no price fluctuations in the provinces and cities. Currently, traders in the South are purchasing live pigs at prices ranging from 62,000 - 64,000 VND/kg.

In particular, the provinces of Ben Tre, Tien Giang, Hau Giang, Tra Vinh and Bac Lieu have the lowest price of live pigs in the region at 62,000 VND/kg. Provinces and cities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Phuoc, Dong Nai, Can Tho, Long An, Ba Ria - Vung Tau, Binh Duong... have common prices from 63,000 - 64,000 VND/kg.

In general, the price of live pigs today and recent sessions has fluctuated. The price of live pigs nationwide is stable and is sold at around 62,000 - 65,000 VND/kg.
