The Provincial People's Committee is completing the dossier and proposing the Provincial Party Standing Committee to consider and approve the project implementation policy.

The project is on the list of investment calls at the Dong Nai province investment promotion conference in 2025. At the same time, the Provincial People's Committee also approved the Department of Construction to promote and seek investors for projects in the field of transport infrastructure connection to promote regional connectivity development and improve the quality of public transport services.

In April, the People's Committee of Dong Nai province sent a document to the People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh City requesting coordination in implementing traffic connection projects between the two localities. In particular, the province proposed that Ho Chi Minh City support infrastructure and technology connection for the Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien metro line 1 extending through Binh Duong and to Dong Nai.
