Peak period of prevention and combat of smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods

Implementing the Prime Minister's direction on launching a peak period to combat and prevent smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and intellectual property infringement, Son La province has established a working group, developed an implementation plan, and established interdisciplinary inspection teams to carry out peak inspections in the province.

At the meeting, members of Task Force 1181 discussed and gave their opinions on the operating regulations, decided on the establishment of an interdisciplinary inspection team and a plan to combat smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and intellectual property infringement in Son La province. Proposed to develop a detailed inspection plan by region and area, ensuring effective inspection and control, avoiding overlap; assigning detailed tasks to the member sectors of the Task Force to organize specialized inspection teams by sector and field in accordance with the actual local situation; promoting community spirit and people's supervision by issuing denunciation forms and reports on violations; strengthening supervision of influential celebrities when advertising and introducing products...

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Nguyen Thanh Cong requested the Department of Industry and Trade and its member units to closely follow the assigned professional tasks, select key tasks to propose detailed and specific plans for the industry in the fight against counterfeit goods, fake goods, trade fraud and acts of infringement of intellectual property rights. The Department of Industry and Trade synthesizes to build a general plan for the province, in which priority is given to solving outstanding issues that are of public concern.
