On April 14, the Andrology Center of Viet Duc Friendship Hospital (Hanoi) informed that it had just received a rare accident case on the wedding day. A 29-year-old man (from Nam Dinh ) was hospitalized due to a fall that caused a testicular injury, a large hematoma and swelling.

Through information exploitation, the patient was a groom who was organizing a wedding, while having fun and dancing with friends, he climbed on a chair and fell, hitting his lower body on the chair. After that, the scrotum and penis were bruised, swollen and in a lot of pain, so his family took him to the emergency room.

The patient underwent emergency surgery and removed about 300g of blood clot from the scrotum, with ruptured bulbocavernosus muscle and ruptured corpus cavernosum.

The doctors cleaned and carefully sutured the damaged areas.

After 5 days of postoperative care, the patient's condition was stable and he was discharged from the hospital.

Doctors warn that genital injuries can happen suddenly. In case of an injury, the victim needs to be taken to a specialized hospital for timely emergency treatment.
