Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, musician Duong Truong Giang, author of the song A i a , said that he was quite surprised when many audiences liked the song in the movie. Before the movie Life is still beautiful , he wrote songs for a number of movies such as: Silent in the abyss, 11 months 5 days ...

"Two months before the film aired, director Khai Anh asked me to write a song for the film Cuoc doi van dep sao . Actually, I wrote the song À í a in two parts. More than 10 years ago, I wrote a demo (test version - PV) of this song but it was not released yet.

When I received the movie script, I immediately thought of my old song, which was only one part at that time, and I developed it further and wrote more to fit the movie," Duong Truong Giang recounted.

The musician born in 1987 said that when he sent the completed music to the film crew, everyone liked it and got "goosebumps". Although the songs were written for the film, Duong Truong Giang took them all from his perspective on life. 10 years ago, Duong Truong Giang also had a hard time, there were periods of time when he felt uncertain, and needed motivation to rise up. He wrote this song for himself.

The composer of the song Pho Trong Mua added that at the end of the film, there is a part where the artists of the film sing along to the song A i a with him, this is a special thing that no other film has. The musician sang and performed with the actors in the final part of the film, making the audience excited.

"When Danh Dung asked Khai Anh to make a side story before the end of the movie "Life is Still Beautiful" to make it more interesting and engaging, everyone responded immediately. I gave instructions to the actors and they sang very naturally, even very well," Duong Truong Giang recounted.

The 8x musician said that when making any film music product, he is very meticulous about every lyric and melody so that when the film ends, the song can stand alone.

"I consider the song as my brainchild, so all works must be respected equally. I also want to leave my mark on the songs, so when the film ends, I often make a separate clip about the work. If other songs are released in the middle of the film, but in Life is Still Beautiful , I waited until the film ended to make a clip about the song, this is a way of respecting and showing gratitude to the film crew," said Duong Truong Giang.

When asked: "When writing music based on a movie script, are you limited in your creativity?", Duong Truong Giang said: "Whether in movies or in real life, my music is highly figurative. I have the right to choose the script for my compositions, so that is also an advantage when I compose, I still find harmony when releasing songs".

He knew almost all the people here, the stage where Luu and Luyen's wedding was held was also the place where Duong Truong Giang had held October 20th for the uncles and aunts in this boarding house. When he returned, he felt very familiar and natural.
