
The Civil Defense Command of Vietnam Electricity (EVN) has just issued a dispatch to its member units to focus on responding to and overcoming the consequences of floods in the Central region.
The telegram was sent to: Ialy and Se San Hydropower Companies; Power Project Management Boards 1, 2, 3; Power Generation Corporations 1, 2, 3; National Power Transmission Corporation; Northern, Central, and Southern Power Corporations; Power Telecommunications and Information Technology Company; Power Communications and Information Center.
EVN's dispatches implement the directions of the Prime Minister and the Ministry of Industry and Trade , including: Dispatch No. 223/CD-TTg dated November 20, 2025, Dispatch No. 9161/CD-BCT dated November 20, 2025 on responding to exceptionally large floods in Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Gia Lai; Dispatch No. 219/CD-TTg dated November 17, 2025, Dispatch No. 9090/CD-BCT dated November 18, 2025 on overcoming the consequences of floods in the Central region.
The goal is to ensure safety of life, limit property damage, quickly restore production and stabilize life. The EVN Civil Defense Command requires units to urgently and seriously implement the instructions, with a resolute spirit, absolutely not to be negligent or subjective, especially in Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, Gia Lai and Lam Dong.
Units are also reminded to continue implementing Directive No. 07/CT-BCT dated March 20, 2025 of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Directive No. 1777/CT-EVN dated March 21, 2025 of EVN on disaster prevention, control and search and rescue in 2025.
EVN Civil Defense Command emphasized that heads of units must directly direct and deploy all necessary measures to ensure maximum effectiveness in responding to and overcoming flood consequences.
