FPT Corporation and Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences officially signed a cooperation agreement to co-organize and launch Vio Global Champion.

The playground spreads the love of mathematics, develops creative thinking and contributes to affirming the position of Vietnamese education on the world map.

Vio Global Champion is sponsored by the Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences with expertise and content orientation, contributing to helping students from 6 to 13 years old access modern mathematical knowledge and thinking according to PISA - TIMSS competency standards (programs to assess international students' math and science competencies).

The playground was developed by FPT on a modern technology platform, operating a large-scale online exam system, applying artificial intelligence (AI) to monitor and inheriting technology, data and nearly two decades of experience from the Violympic competition - an online Math playground that attracted tens of millions of students to participate.

Vio Global Champion is expected by both sides to become a bridge for global intellectual exchange, promoting cultural and intellectual connections and expanding mathematical development opportunities for students in Vietnam and other countries. The playground also helps students access modern scientific materials, update international mathematical learning trends, and be more confident in their learning and development journey.

In addition, contestants participating in the competition entirely in English will have the opportunity to become familiar with the international academic language, expand integration and access to knowledge. With content closely following the general education program and rounds of increasing difficulty, the competition evaluates open-minded thinking, the ability to apply Mathematics and practice global citizenship skills. Through this competition, the organizers hope to discover and honor young talents who are eager to learn and have the desire to conquer knowledge.

Mr. Cao Tung Anh - Head of VIO Technology Department, FPT Corporation shared that Vio Global Champion 2025 is designed in three rounds: Experience - National - International Final, taking place from November 2025 to June 2026.

The exams are entirely in English, combining multiple choice and essay questions, closely following the general education curriculum, while expanding logical thinking and practical application problems, in line with international standards. With infrastructure capacity that can serve 300,000 online test takers, along with AI monitoring against cheating in real time, this playground affirms its technological capacity in organizing a global-scale academic playground.

The International Finals are scheduled to be held in Hanoi in June 2026, bringing together students from many countries to exchange, compete and experience Vietnamese culture. The total prize value is up to 2 billion VND.

Speaking at the event, Professor, Dr. Le Anh Vinh - Director of the Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences, the professional director of the playground shared: "Vio Global Champion is not only a Math competition, but also a quality environment to train comprehensive capacity for digital generation students. Through the rounds, students develop logical thinking, critical thinking, problem-solving skills, creativity and use of international academic language - core competencies in the present era".

"With FPT's technological strengths and nearly 20 years of experience in implementing Violympic, along with the professional capacity of the Vietnam Institute of Educational Sciences, we believe that Vio Global Champion will become a prestigious educational playground, helping Vietnamese and international students develop their comprehensive abilities," said Professor, Dr. Le Anh Vinh.
