The organizing committee of Vietnam International Fashion Week Spring Summer 2024 has just officially announced the "choosing the right person" to open the fashion week for the "arrogant guy" of the Vietnamese fashion industry - designer Vo Cong Khanh.

Accordingly, the designer will bring the collection "Masterpiece Of Water" to open the Vietnam International Fashion Festival Spring Summer 2024 taking place from June 13-16, at Military Zone 7 Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City.

“With the 10-year milestone of Vietnam International Fashion Week in the journey of marking Vietnamese fashion, Vo Cong Khanh feels very honored as well as pressured to shoulder this important responsibility. Therefore, with the powerful theme #FashionEvolution, I will use my 20 years of experience to bring a truly eye-catching and sublime collection called “Masterpiece Of Water,” the designer shared.

Vo Cong Khanh impresses with his ability to create structured shapes and creatively handle materials. Known as the “arrogant guy” in the Vietnamese fashion industry, this designer always knows how to make viewers admire, surprise and be curious with his designs and creativity in each collection.

The costumes designed by Vo Cong Khanh have distinctive cuts that are similar to his personality - bold and edgy. The designer has a unique way of "playing" with fabrics and shapes that are not at all mixed up. For Vo Cong Khanh, design thinking has never been constrained by measurements or popular standards. He always breaks stereotypes and instead puts his own personality into his unique fashion designs.

For many years, designer Vo Cong Khanh has paid much attention to recycled materials to create impressive designs. In 2022, Vo Cong Khanh made a strong impression when he first performed at Vietnam International Fashion Week with a fashion story of recycled materials called “H20.”

Returning to this fashion week, Vo Cong Khanh continues to “treat” fashionistas to a fashion feast of “Masterpieces of Water.” Returning to the deep green inspiration of water, the new collection will bring designs using the technique of arranging and connecting fabric pieces to create extremely vivid 3D block structures.

In line with the theme #FashionEvolution of this year's program, Vo Cong Khanh continues with the sustainable fashion trend through excess fabric scraps or utilizing recycled materials to create a "Green" sky with the meaningful message: "Contribute a drop of water to create an ocean." This is also the message that the organizers are aiming for, developing sustainable fashion to build a community of people who love green fashion, friendly to the environment.

Therefore, we have great confidence in the design talent, creativity and difference that designer Vo Cong Khanh always puts in his collections”./.
