The program not only helps detect cardiovascular diseases in children early but also demonstrates the spirit of "mutual love and support" towards the community. This is a meaningful humanitarian activity in a series of events celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025).

At the program, 50 scholarships were awarded to students with outstanding academic achievements. In addition, 700 gifts including school bags and school supplies were also sent to the children participating in the screening.

The Organizing Committee presented gifts and scholarships to students.

“Moc Hoa is a border district, with very difficult socio-economic conditions. People's lives mainly depend on income from farming. In the coming time, the locality hopes to continue to accompany units to be able to take care of people to have a better and more prosperous life" - Vice Chairman of Moc Hoa District People's Committee - Nguyen Thanh Sang shared.

Taking her daughter to visit and receive the scholarship, Ms. Do Huyen Tran (45 years old) could not help but be moved and grateful.

"I take my child for regular health check-ups but have never had him screened for heart defects because of our family's difficult economic situation. Now that the locality and benefactors have created conditions for my child to have health check-ups and care, I feel very happy," said Ms. Tran.
