Nearly 103,000 candidates in Hanoi complete procedures to take the 10th grade exam

On the morning of June 6, nearly 103,000 candidates in Hanoi completed procedures to take the 10th grade entrance exam. Hanoi has arranged 201 official exam locations with more than 4,400 exam rooms.

In Hanoi this morning, 201 examination sites held a leadership meeting, assigning specific tasks to each member in the spirit of "clear people, tight work", and at the same time, reviewed and inspected all facilities; received stationery, exam papers, scratch paper, etc.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Phuong took her daughter Nguyen Minh Anh to the exam site at Quang Trung - Dong Da school. "This morning I took my daughter to the exam site early, my family always encouraged and accompanied her to be ready to enter the exam with good results" - Ms. Phuong shared.

Ms. Tuyen went into the school yard to find her child's exam room list for peace of mind.

After the exam invigilators' meeting at the exam council, the invigilators returned to the exam room as assigned to disseminate the regulations for the 10th grade entrance exam.

Each candidate before entering the exam room will have their exam notice and ID card checked by the invigilator.

Candidate Le Bao Chau was called into the exam room on the morning of June 6. Many exam rooms had candidates with the same name, so the invigilator had to read their date of birth as well.

Candidate To Quoc Anh said: "Early in the morning, my father took me to have breakfast before going to the exam site. I was ready to enter the exam with the most comfortable mentality."

According to exam regulations, candidates are allowed to bring water bottles into the exam room, but the bottles must not have any words or symbols on them.

Hanoi has arranged 201 official examination sites with more than 4,400 examination rooms, along with a system of backup examination sites in districts, towns, and cities, ready to respond to unexpected situations such as bad weather, power outages, or other objective factors.

According to Ms. Luu Thi Lap, an officer at the Quang Trung - Dong Da school exam site: The school's exam site has 25 exam rooms with 600 candidates taking the 10th grade entrance exam.

This year's non-specialized public high school grade 10 exam in Hanoi will take place on June 7-8 with 3 exams: Math, Literature, Foreign Language. Of which, Math and Literature will be essay tests (120 minutes), Foreign Language will be multiple choice (60 minutes). Candidates taking the specialized exam will take the specialized subject test on June 9, for 150 minutes.
