Nearly 2,000 people participated in the Phai Lua Na Linh festival in Quoc Viet commune, Trang Dinh district - Lang Son Newspaper and Radio and Television Station

- On May 1, the People's Committee of Quoc Viet Commune, Trang Dinh District organized the 2025 Phai Lua Festival in Na Linh Village. The festival attracted nearly 2,000 people and tourists from all over the country to attend.

The Phai Lua Festival of Quoc Viet commune is held every two years on the 4th day of the 4th lunar month in Na Linh village.

This is an important festival at the beginning of the year in Quoc Viet commune in particular and Trang Dinh district in general. The festival is associated with a legendary story related to the custom of worshiping the snake god and the river god of the local people with many humanistic meanings. The festival is an occasion for villagers to show their respect and gratitude to the god of Na Linh temple and the Snake God for helping people with farming and cultivation. This is also an occasion for people to pray for a year of favorable weather and bountiful crops...

This year's festival featured special activities such as: Na Linh temple worship ceremony; cultural exchange and folk games such as tug of war, stilt walking, grass weeding... and raft racing of people from villages in Quoc Viet commune.

The organizers awarded first prize to the best men's team in the raft competition. — The organizers awarded first prize to the best men's team in the raft racing competition.

This year's raft racing attracted 16 teams in 2 categories of men and women with 48 athletes participating. This is the first year that the raft racing has the participation of female athletes. The raft racing teams of 470m distance from the intense competition and chase, the raft racing created a joyful, vibrant atmosphere and received enthusiastic cheers from the locals and tourists.

At the end of the festival, the Organizing Committee awarded first, second and third prizes to outstanding individuals and groups participating in the folk games. For the raft racing, the Organizing Committee awarded 4 third prizes, 2 second prizes and 2 first prizes. Of which, the first prize for the men's raft racing went to Na Na village; the first prize for the women's raft racing went to Phieng Mo village.
