- On the morning of May 29, the city's working delegation led by Comrade Phung Quang Hoi, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Secretary of the City Party Committee, attended the Children's Day program on June 1 and gave gifts to children at Hoang Van Thu Kindergarten, Hoang Van Thu Ward, Lang Son City.

In the 2024-2025 school year, Hoang Van Thu Kindergarten has organized many practical activities to improve the quality of the team, maintain good organization of professional activities at the school and professional clusters, organize good competitions to improve skills for the team of teachers and staff, thereby improving the quality of the team with 100% of teachers achieving good and excellent results. The whole school has 401 students, of which 98.8% of children meet the requirements, 90.5% of children are awarded the titles of "Excellent Good Children", "Good Children", "Diligent Children". The school was honored to rank third in the preschool emulation cluster, achieved advanced labor collective, and proposed the Chairman of the City People's Committee to award a certificate of merit.

In the 2024-2025 school year, 2-9 Kindergarten has achieved many outstanding results in child care, nurturing and education. The school currently has 355 children in 12 classes and 43 staff, teachers and employees. The quality of the team is increasingly improved, with 93% of teachers achieving good and excellent grades. The team of caregivers has also changed positively, with 7/8 people achieving good and excellent grades.

The school actively participates in city-level competitions and has won many high prizes such as: excellent teacher, encouragement prize in STEM competition, A and B prizes at art festivals, and third prize in English exchange. Regarding child care: 96.4% of children have normal weight, 95.5% of children have standard height and 98% of children meet educational requirements. Activities such as "Children love folk songs", "Children are skillful", English exchange... are organized enthusiastically, helping children develop their talents and life skills.

Also on the morning of May 29, leaders of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and members of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee organized delegations to visit and present gifts at 12 kindergartens in the area. This is an activity in a series of programs to care for children in the area on the occasion of the Month of Action for Children in 2025; demonstrating the city leaders' concern for children and contributing to spreading community responsibility in protecting and caring for future generations.
