Nearly 2,400 officials from across the province listened to a quick announcement of the results of the 9th conference.

The conference was chaired by comrades: Ho Van Nien - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Truong Hai Long - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Rah Lan Chung - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

The conference was organized in person and connected online to 19 Party Committees of Provincial Agencies and Enterprises, Provincial Political School, District Party Committees, Town Party Committees, and City Party Committees with nearly 2,400 delegates attending.

Attending the conference at the main bridge point of Hall 2-9 (Pleiku City) were comrades of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee (currently working at provincial-level agencies and units); leaders of specialized agencies advising and assisting the Provincial Party Committee; heads and deputy heads of the Provincial People's Council and leaders of the Office of the National Assembly Delegation and the Provincial People's Council, the Office of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of departments, branches, sectors, the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the province; leaders of Gia Lai Newspaper, the Provincial Radio and Television Station and heads (or deputy heads) of specific provincial associations; representatives of the Party Committees: Provincial Border Guard, Provincial Police, Provincial Military ; members of the Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee; Central reporters, Provincial Party Committee reporters of the XVI term currently working at provincial-level agencies and units; heads and deputy heads of specialized departments of specialized agencies advising and assisting the Provincial Party Committee, Gia Lai Newspaper, Provincial Radio and Television Station.

At the conference, Provincial Party Secretary Ho Van Nien directly announced the results of the 9th meeting of the 13th Party Central Committee. Accordingly, implementing the entire working program, from May 16 to May 18, 2024, in Hanoi , the 13th Party Central Committee held its 9th meeting. General Secretary Nguyen Phu Trong chaired and delivered an important speech to open and close the conference.

Provincial Party Secretary Ho Van Nien informed: With the spirit of urgent, serious and responsible work, after 3 working days, the 9th conference completed all the proposed contents. The Central Committee discussed and gave opinions on the contents, including: Detailed outline of the Political Report of the 13th Party Central Committee at the 14th National Congress of the Party; Detailed outline of the Report on 5 years of implementing the 10-year Socio-Economic Development Strategy (2021-2030), the 5-year Socio-Economic Development Plan, period 2026-2030; Outline of the Report summarizing the Party building work and the implementation of the Party Charter to be submitted to the 14th National Party Congress; Project to summarize Directive No. 35-CT/TW, dated May 30, 2019 of the Politburo and the draft Directive of the Politburo on Party congresses at all levels towards the 14th National Party Congress; Report on the results of inspection, supervision and Party discipline enforcement in 2023, directions and tasks in 2024; personnel work and some other important issues.

At the conference, the Central Executive Committee democratically discussed, carefully considered and reached a high consensus on the plan to complete the positions of President and Chairman of the National Assembly so that the National Assembly Party Delegation could introduce it to the National Assembly for consideration and decision at the 7th session of the 15th National Assembly; elect 4 additional members of the 13th Politburo...

The Party Central Committee calls on the entire Party, people and army to strengthen solidarity and unity, promote important and comprehensive achievements, strive to overcome all difficulties and challenges, firmly protect independence, territorial sovereignty and national security, and successfully complete the goals and tasks set for 2024 and the entire term of the 13th National Party Congress.
