Nguyen Nu Bao Chau (left) and her group of friends from Ho Chi Minh City came to the bougainvillea street in Vinh Truong ward after seeing it on social media. "This bougainvillea street is the first place we checked in when we first arrived in Nha Trang. Here, bougainvillea flowers bloom abundantly and brilliantly just like the reviews online, I'm sure I'll have some satisfying photos," said Bao Chau. Phan Thi Lieu (right, a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City) shared: "Before the trip, I learned about famous places in Nha Trang and planned to visit this place. I thought there would be shops selling food and drinks here, but when I got there, I didn't see any. I hope that if I have the chance to come back, there will be more shops to rest and enjoy drinks."
To have the most sparkling photos, people often choose to go to the bougainvillea street and take photos early in the morning or late in the afternoon, when the sunlight is not too harsh. Fishermen sit mending their nets under the bright pink bougainvillea, creating a peaceful scene in the heart of the bustling coastal city.
