Specifically, regarding rice, according to updates from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, the price of IR 504 raw rice decreased to between 10,200 and 10,300 VND/kg; while the price of finished IR 504 rice increased slightly by 100 VND to between 12,300 and 12,500 VND/kg.

Regarding by-products, the prices of various by-products fluctuate between 5,800 and 9,400 VND/kg. Currently, the price of fragrant rice bran has decreased by 100 VND, fluctuating between 9,200 and 9,400 VND/kg; the price of rice bran has increased by 200 VND, fluctuating between 5,800 and 6,000 VND/kg.

Observations in various localities today show that rice supplies are sporadic and limited, with warehouses buying steadily. Fragrant and sticky rice of good quality is fetching high prices. For example, in Lap Vo (Dong Thap), rice supplies are sporadic, warehouses are buying steadily, and prices remain stable, with fragrant and sticky rice slightly increasing in price. In Sa Dec market (Dong Thap), raw rice supplies are limited, transactions are stable, and good quality rice is difficult to obtain. Fragrant and sticky rice of good quality is fetching high prices. In An Cu (Cai Be, Tien Giang ), rice supplies are sporadic, with prices increasing by 100 VND/kg; most rice is of poor quality, with few good quality grains.

At retail markets, rice prices remained relatively stable compared to yesterday. Regular rice fluctuated between 16,000 and 17,000 VND/kg. Currently, Nang Nhen rice has the highest listed price at 28,000 VND/kg. Fragrant rice is offered at higher prices ranging from 20,000 to 22,000 VND/kg; Jasmine rice at 17,000 to 18,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa rice at 21,500 VND/kg; long-grain Thai fragrant rice at 20,000 to 22,000 VND/kg; Huong Lai rice at 22,000 VND/kg; common white rice at 17,500 VND/kg; Taiwanese fragrant rice at 21,000 VND/kg; regular Soc rice at 18,500 VND/kg; Thai Soc rice at 21,000 VND/kg; and Japanese rice at 22,500 VND/kg.

Similarly, regarding rice, according to updates from the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of An Giang province, the price of IR 50404 rice (fresh) has increased by 100 VND, fluctuating between 7,800 - 7,900 VND/kg; OM 5451 rice is at 7,800 - 8,000 VND/kg; OM 380 rice is at 7,000 VND/kg; OM 18 rice (fresh) is at 8,800 - 9,000 VND/kg; Nang Hoa 9 rice is priced at 8,400 - 8,600 VND/kg; Japanese rice is at 7,800 - 8,000 VND/kg; and Dai Thom 8 rice (fresh) has decreased by 100 VND, fluctuating between 8,800 - 9,000 VND/kg.

In many localities today, rice prices remain high, supply is limited, and demand is mainly for fragrant rice. In An Giang, demand for autumn-winter rice is sporadic, along with fragrant rice, and rice prices remain high. In Ca Mau, rice harvesting is sporadic, and demand for fragrant rice is predominant.

On the export market, Vietnam's rice export prices remained stable today compared to yesterday. According to the Vietnam Food Association (VFA), 100% broken rice was priced at US$410/ton; standard 5% broken rice at US$520/ton; and 25% broken rice at US$485/ton.
