Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Van Hieu - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Can Tho City Party Committee - informed the dignitaries, outstanding monks and prestigious people among the Khmer people about the socio-economic development situation of Can Tho City in the first 9 months of 2024 with the basic targets and tasks achieved and exceeded according to the set plan. Notably, the economy grew steadily; the material and spiritual life of the people was improved; the cultural and social fields had many advances; national defense and security were ensured; Party building and the political system were strengthened. The city is determined to promote, strive to achieve and exceed all targets and tasks in 2024.

According to Venerable Dao Nhu, both ethnic groups value gratitude and gratitude, remembering the merits of ancestors and those who sacrificed to build and protect the country.
