Meeting and encouraging the military parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day

(QBĐT) - On the morning of April 4, at Dong Hoi station, leaders of Quang Binh province and the Military Region 4 Command met and presented gifts to the forces participating in the parade to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day on the train to Ho Chi Minh City to continue practicing in preparation for the celebration.

Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Tran Hai Chau presented gifts to representatives of the parade forces.

Attending the event were comrades: Tran Hai Chau, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Colonel Doan Sinh Hoa, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Military Command; Le Vinh The, Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council. On the side of the Military Region 4 Command, there were comrades: Major General Doan Xuan Buong, Deputy Political Commissar of the Military Region; Major General Phan Van Sy, Deputy Political Commissar of the Military Region. On the side of the Ministry of National Defense , there was Senior Lieutenant General Nguyen Van Nghia, Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, commander of the working delegations to the South and many generals and senior officers representing the leaders and commanders of agencies, military units and arms.

After many months of training and joint training at units and the National Military Training Center 4, the formation of soldiers from the parade and marching groups of the Vietnam People's Army left Hanoi station on trains on the night of April 3, 2025 to move to the South to join forces with friendly units to continue joint training in preparation for the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

In order to promptly encourage the forces performing this special task, Quang Binh province and the Military Region 4 Command coordinated to organize working delegations to meet, encourage, and present gifts at Dong Hoi station, to spread the spirit and atmosphere of welcoming the national reunification day, the North-South reunion. To effectively carry out this special task, the Provincial Military Command has chaired and coordinated with departments, branches, and organizations, such as: the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department, the Provincial Police, the Provincial Border Guard Command, the Provincial Veterans Association, the Provincial Women's Union, and the Provincial Youth Union to do a good job of preparing and organizing meetings to ensure safety and warmth.

At the meeting, the leaders of Quang Binh province and Military Region 4 presented gifts and warmly visited and encouraged the officers, employees and soldiers participating in the parade; at the same time, they hoped that the comrades would continue to uphold their sense of responsibility, overcome all difficulties to practice and participate in the parade to achieve the set goals and requirements, ensuring the solemnity, unity and majesty of the Army and creating momentum and confidence to bring the country into a new era.

Forces mobilize officers and soldiers to participate in parades and marches.

It is known that, along with coordinating the mobilization of more than 500 cadres, soldiers, members of the Veterans Association, Women's Union, youth union members and students in the area to participate in the meeting, encourage and send off the task force, the Provincial Military Command proactively advised to spend nearly 500 million VND to purchase gifts and organize meeting activities.
