Meeting and encouraging athletes participating in the National High School Sports Tournament 2025

The leaders of the Department of Education and Training recently met and encouraged teachers and students of the province's vovinam, swimming, and athletics teams to prepare for the 2025 National High School Sports Tournament held in Hue City.

The 2025 National High School Sports Tournament was organized by the Ministry of Education and Training in Hue City from June 9-16. This tournament is for students aged 18 and under studying at educational institutions nationwide, with 5 competitions including: football, basketball, athletics, swimming and vovinam. Participating in this tournament, Phu Yen has 3 teams, with 11 athletes. Of which, the vovinam team (5 athletes), swimming (3 athletes) and athletics (3 athletes). To prepare for the national tournament, over the past month, athletes from the provincial teams have been working hard to practice techniques, competition tactics, physical strength, etc.

At the meeting, Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training Vo Thi Minh Duyen hoped that teachers and students of the teams would try to promote their professional capacity and competitive strength to achieve the best results. The Deputy Director of the Department of Education and Training hoped that the athletes participating in the tournament would spread the spirit of sportsmanship and solidarity to compete for the best results, contributing to arousing the passion for sports, physical training, and developing the sports movement in the province.
