On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the traditional day of the Vietnam Irrigation Industry (August 28, 1945 - August 28, 2023), speaking at the meeting, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Long, in charge of the Board of Members, General Director of Bac Nghe An Irrigation One Member Co., Ltd. sent his best wishes to the officials of the Nghe An-Ha Tinh Irrigation Retirees Association through the periods; At the same time, he reported on the achievements that the unit has achieved in the past time.

Bac Nghe An Irrigation One Member Co., Ltd. currently has 6 member irrigation enterprises, with a total of 420 employees. The company manages the Do Luong tributary system (including the main dam and 56 km of main canal, spanning 4 districts, 1 town and hundreds of km of level 1 and 2 canals); the Bung River drainage system with Dien Thanh and Dien Thuy main drainage sluices (Dien Chau); and many key irrigation works: Do Luong tributary, Vuc Mau reservoir (Hoang Mai town), Dien Thanh drainage sluice, Xuan Duong reservoir, district (Dien Chau), Ve Vung reservoir district (Yen Thanh)...

The unit manages a large area with complex terrain, from plains to semi-mountains, and coastal areas stretching from Yen Thanh, Quynh Luu, Yen Thanh, Do Luong districts and Hoang Mai town. In recent times, the Company has always proactively developed operational plans, effectively implemented the task of irrigating over 70,000 hectares of rice per year; coordinated well with localities to proactively and reasonably operate reservoirs and drainage sluices in the area during the rainy season, minimizing damage.
