Implementing the two-level local government model, 30 communes and towns of the old Tho Xuan district were merged and established into 8 new communes including: Tho Xuan, Tho Long, Xuan Hoa, Lam Son, Tho Lap, Xuan Tin, Xuan Lap and Sao Vang.
Briefly reporting on the situation of cadre organization, comrade Phan Thanh Dung, Standing Deputy Secretary of Sao Vang Commune Party Committee emphasized: The meeting is an event of special significance, expressing the respect, attachment and affection of the Party Committee, government and people of Sao Vang Commune for comrade Hoang Van Dong - Provincial Party Committee member, Director of the Department of Construction of Thanh Hoa Province, former Deputy Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of Tho Xuan District People's Committee, former Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of Sao Vang Commune People's Council - who has made many important contributions, wholeheartedly and wholeheartedly to the development of Tho Xuan District, communes in the old Tho Xuan area and Sao Vang Commune since the early days of its establishment.
According to the assignment of the Standing Committee of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, from October 4, 2025, comrade Hoang Van Dong was transferred to hold the position of Director of the Department of Construction and at the 20th Congress of Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, he was elected as a member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 20th term, 2025 - 2030. Comrade Nguyen Minh Hoang has held many important positions: former Deputy Secretary, Chairman of Hau Loc District People's Committee. After implementing the two-level local government model from July 1, 2025, he was assigned to hold the position of Party Secretary, Chairman of Dong Thanh Commune People's Council and on October 4, 2025, he continued to be trusted by the Provincial Party Standing Committee to hold the important responsibility of Party Secretary of Sao Vang Commune; at the 20th Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Congress, he was elected as a member of the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 20th term, 2025 - 2030 term.
