The 6th Congress of Thanh Hoa Bridge and Road Science and Technology Association, term 2025-2030

Attending the Congress were representatives of the Vietnam Association of Road and Bridge Science and Technology; representatives of the Thanh Hoa Union of Science and Technology Associations, the Department of Construction; and relevant departments and branches of the province.

Presidium of the Congress.

In the 2020-2025 term, along with the continuous development of the Transport sector, many members of the Thanh Hoa Bridge and Road Science and Technology Association have actively participated in the construction of many large bridges and many key routes in the province. Typically, such as: the North-South Expressway in the East through the province; the road connecting Tho Xuan Airport with Nghi Son Economic Zone; the road connecting the center of Thanh Hoa province with Nghi Son - Tho Xuan Airport road; the road connecting the center of Thanh Hoa province with Tho Xuan Airport from Provincial Road 514 to the entrance to Tho Xuan Airport; the coastal road section Nga Son - Hoang Hoa - Sam Son - Quang Xuong, Nghi Son; the road connecting National Highway 217 with National Highway 45 and National Highway 47; the Ma River overpass under the project connecting National Highway 1A with National Highway 45 and many other routes in the province.

Along with that, the association actively consults on major orientations to build mechanisms and policies for regional economic development in attracting investment in transport infrastructure.

Overview of the Congress.

Thanh Hoa Bridge and Road Science and Technology Association regularly organizes for members to participate in conferences, scientific seminars, tours and study tours at home and abroad to improve professional qualifications and update new technologies in the field of transportation.

With many outstanding achievements, the association and its collectives and individuals have been awarded many Certificates of Merit and Merit Certificates by the Central Government and Thanh Hoa province for the period 2020-2025.

Speaking at the Congress, Director of the Department of Construction Hoang Van Dong highly appreciated and congratulated the results that the Thanh Hoa Bridge and Road Science and Technology Association had achieved in the past term.

At the same time, suggest some tasks in the coming time for the association to develop further, such as: The association needs to continue to expand the organization, develop members, strengthen propaganda, exchange experiences, apply science and technology in the fields of construction and transportation. Further promote the role of social criticism and appraisal, closely coordinate with the Department of Construction in giving opinions on programs, projects, planning, mechanisms, policies and projects in the fields of construction and transportation, contributing to the completion of the political tasks of the industry in the coming period.

Executive Committee of Thanh Hoa Road and Bridge Science and Technology Association, term 2025-2030.

The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the Thanh Hoa Bridge and Road Science and Technology Association for the 2025-2030 term, consisting of 37 members. Mr. Nguyen Duc Trung, former Deputy Director of the Department of Construction, was elected as Chairman of the Thanh Hoa Bridge and Road Science and Technology Association for the 6th term, 2025-2030 term.
