Causing controversy when concert ticket prices are as high as My Tam's, what does singer Lan Nha say?

Singer Lan Nha recently held a livestream to share about the two most important music projects of the year, including the album Nha 2025 and Nha Concert, which will take place on December 7 at the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Palace, Hanoi, and December 20 at the Hoa Binh Theater, Ho Chi Minh City.

As soon as the information was announced, the ticket prices in Hanoi ranging from 2.5 million VND - 5.9 million VND received many mixed opinions. Some audiences said that the ticket prices were high, while famous artists such as My Tam and Ha Anh Tuan also had the same price.

Lan Nha apologizes for the controversy over high concert ticket prices.

Before the controversy, Lan Nha shared that he understood the fans' psychology and apologized if the ticket prices made the audience feel unreasonable.

“We have balanced and lowered ticket prices as much as possible. At the Vietnam-Soviet Friendship Palace, there are fewer seats than at the Hoa Binh Theater, and the cost of moving sound, lighting, and the orchestra from Ho Chi Minh City has increased, so the ticket prices are higher. I hope everyone understands, the crew has tried their best,” he said.

Talking about choosing the time to hold the concert close to My Tam and Ha Anh Tuan, the male singer also affirmed that each artist has their own audience. After a period of working in the profession, he feels that very clearly.

"I'm happy that this year there are many other artists doing concerts and I don't think about comparison. What I care about most is doing it properly," Lan Nha shared.

In addition, Lan Nha also revealed that there will be a little bit of choreography in the concert night. He is working hard to practice with choreographer Quang Dang. However, the male singer affirmed that what he focuses on most is still his voice.

The male singer held his first concert after 15 years of singing.

Talking about the album Nha 2025 - a product that has been cherished for more than 2 years, Lan Nha said this is considered a milestone in his career, reflecting the changes in his emotions, perceptions and experiences throughout his career.

His new album features the participation of musician Hoai Sa in the role of mixing and mastering. The sound processing was done by musician Duc Tri, then the product was sent to the US for final adjustment.

Lan Nha always receives feedback as to why he mostly sings old songs and rarely releases new ones. He affirms that he always loves old music and love songs that live with the years, and his future career will be the same. This time, he wants to send the audience more new songs that suit his mood and inner harmony.

Sharing his thoughts about his 15 years of singing, Lan Nha said he had left the stage for 7-8 years to do voiceover work before returning to music in 2017-2018. However, when he started singing, he felt like he was doing his job.

"When I stand on stage, looking at everyone's eyes and feeling the expectations when I sing, I feel happy. Those are the wonderful things I feel at every concert. This is a beautiful moment that makes me want to do something meaningful for the audience," he confided.
