According to information from Giacaphe.com, updated at 4:30 a.m. today, May 21, 2025, coffee prices in the Central Highlands provinces suddenly increased again compared to the previous trading session, an increase of 2,000 - 2,200 VND/kg and the market tends to recover after many previous sessions of decline. Currently, the average coffee purchase price in key areas is at 126,500 VND/kg.

Specifically, today's coffee price in Dak Lak is 126,500 VND/kg, coffee price in Lam Dong is 126,000 VND/kg, coffee price in Gia Lai is 126,500 VND/kg and coffee price in Dak Nong today is 126,700 VND/kg.

According to preliminary statistics from the Customs Department, in the first four months of this year, Vietnam exported nearly 666 thousand tons of coffee, earning 3.8 billion USD, down 9.4% in volume but up 51.8% in value over the same period in 2024.

Notably, the average coffee export price in the first four months of the year reached 5,700 USD/ton, a sharp increase of 67.6% compared to the same period last year. This is the reason why the value of coffee exports increased sharply despite the decrease in quantity.
