Domestic coffee price list updated on the morning of April 27, 2025 |
According to experts, the coffee market is currently in a period of strong fluctuations due to limited supply and high export demand. Coffee growers are benefiting from high prices, while exporters are facing many challenges. In the short term, coffee prices may continue to remain high or increase slightly, depending on supply and demand developments and market sentiment.
In the long term, domestic coffee prices are likely to continue to rise, or at least remain at record highs, if the dry weather persists and supplies do not improve. However, the market remains sensitive to weather news and intervention from importers.
Many assessments say that with its great potential and long history, Vietnamese coffee has every chance to conquer the most demanding markets in the world. However, the door to the world will only truly open when this industry focuses on building a sustainable production chain from farming to processing.
According to statistics from the Vietnam Customs Department, our country's coffee exports in the first half of April 2025 reached 83,572 tons, earning 482.98 million USD, down 11% in volume and 11.4% in value compared to the first half of March 2025, and down 3% in volume but up 49.6% in value compared to the same period in 2024.
According to Reuters, the National Coffee Association (NCA) said that its proposal to exempt coffee imports from import tariffs has received positive feedback from the Trump administration. However, the NCA representative remained cautious and said it was difficult to predict whether the proposal would be approved.
In addition, global coffee prices were also supported by the appreciation of the Brazilian Real and concerns about limited supply.
