Domestic coffee price list updated on the morning of May 8, 2025 |
According to experts, the domestic coffee market is currently stable with high prices, reflecting a balanced supply and demand. In the short term, coffee prices are forecast to maintain a stable trend, but may be affected by fluctuations in world prices and weather factors in major producing countries.
Despite fluctuations in domestic prices, coffee exports in the first four months of 2025 still achieved impressive results. According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, coffee export turnover reached 3.78 billion USD, up more than 51% over the same period, mainly due to a sharp increase in selling prices. The average export price reached 5,698 USD/ton, up 67.5% over last year, including roasted and instant coffee.
Robusta coffee exports from Vietnam were lower in Q1 2025, which is supporting robusta prices at the moment. Vietnam Customs reported that Vietnam’s coffee exports in Q1 2025 decreased by 15.3% year-on-year to 495,780 tons.
There are concerns that the tariff hike will push up coffee prices and weaken demand in the U.S. Many global importers of the commodity, including Starbucks, Hershey and Mondelez International, have said that the 10% base tariff imposed by the U.S. government on imports will increase prices and reduce consumption.
