News, forecast of live pig price on May 2, 2025

According to the Department of Agriculture and Environment, farms concentrated in Trang Bom, Long Thanh, and Thong Nhat have applied a closed farming model, using high technology such as closed barn systems, automating care processes, and monitoring animal health. These technologies help increase productivity, reduce disease, and ensure pork quality.

Along with increasing production, Dong Nai also focuses on strict environmental control. Large farms are required to invest in modern waste treatment systems, reusing waste to produce organic fertilizers and biogas. This not only reduces pollution but also contributes positively to the development of a circular economy.

By 2030, Dong Nai aims to increase its total pig herd to 3 million, while developing environmentally friendly organic farming models. A representative of the Department of Agriculture and Environment said the province will continue to support farmers in applying advanced technical standards to meet domestic and export demand.

With synchronous efforts, Dong Nai is affirming its pioneering role in developing a modern and sustainable pig farming industry, meeting market demands and harmoniously combining with the goal of environmental protection.
