The live hog market in the Northern region on the morning of July 25 had no change in price. The live hog price currently fluctuates between 60,000 and 62,000 VND/kg.
Specifically, provinces such as Hanoi , Hai Phong, Tuyen Quang, Thai Nguyen, Bac Ninh, Ninh Binh, Phu Tho, Son La and Hung Yen are trading live pigs at 62,000 VND/kg. Next are Lang Son, Quang Ninh and Lao Cai at 61,000 VND/kg. The lowest price in the region, 60,000 VND/kg, is recorded in Lai Chau and Dien Bien.

Pig price today, July 25, in the Central Highlands - Central region is stable
Similarly, the live hog market in the Central Highlands region also had no price fluctuations this morning. According to records, the live hog purchase price here fluctuated from 59,000 to 63,000 VND/kg.
Lam Dong is the only locality with the highest price in the region at VND63,000/kg. On the contrary, Gia Lai recorded the lowest price in the country, only VND59,000/kg. The remaining provinces in the region maintained stable live pig prices from VND60,000 to VND61,000/kg.

Pig prices in southern provinces and cities continue to remain stable, with no fluctuations in the range of 63,000 to 65,000 VND/kg.
Ca Mau is leading with the highest purchase price in the country, reaching 65,000 VND/kg. Next are Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho, where the price of live pigs is recorded at 64,000 VND/kg. The remaining localities in the region maintain the common price of 63,000 VND/kg.

Pig carcasses suspected of being infected with African swine fever were left on the roadside, people fear an outbreak of the disease
In Gao commune, Gia Lai province, pig carcasses suspected of being infected with African swine fever were dumped on the roadside, causing environmental pollution and raising concerns about the risk of spreading the disease.
Gao Commune Police have just completed an initial report on the discovery of a pig suspected of having African swine fever left on the roadside in Osor village.
Previously, on the morning of July 20, a video appeared on social media recording the scene of a pig carcass dumped in the open at the beginning of Tran Can Street, Gao Commune, emitting a heavy stench and covered with flies, seriously affecting the environment.
At the scene, the pig carcass was lying on the side of the road, near a residential area, on the road from Gao commune to Dien Phu commune. Reporters noted that there was an uncovered dead pig in the process of decomposition, along with several sacks suspected of containing pig carcasses. This area had no fences or warning signs, making it easy for passersby to see.
Immediately after receiving information from reporters, the People's Committee of Gao commune directed the functional forces to conduct inspection, cordon off, verify the scene and handle it according to regulations.
According to a report from the Gao Commune Police, on July 20, two dead pigs suspected of having African swine fever were found abandoned at the intersection of Tran Can and Vu Lang streets, in Osor village, Gao Commune.
