The remaining provinces basically maintain the current high prices:

Strengthening prevention of African swine fever
Recently, the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Bac Giang province issued an official dispatch requesting localities in the province to strengthen measures to control and prevent African swine fever.
Specifically, the Official Dispatch emphasized: "According to information from the Department of Animal Health, since the beginning of the year, African swine fever has occurred in 32 provinces and cities across the country with a total of 6,810 pigs forced to be destroyed."
Currently, Lang Son and Quang Ninh provinces - two localities bordering Bac Giang - have not yet had the disease for 21 days, making the risk of disease spreading through the transportation and trade of pigs and pork products very high.
Notably, the current weather conditions with peak heat create a favorable environment for pathogens to develop rapidly. Meanwhile, the vaccination rate for African swine fever in the province's pig herd remains low, leading to the risk of disease outbreaks if not strictly controlled.
To proactively prevent and effectively control the epidemic, the Department of Agriculture and Environment recommends that the People's Committees of districts, towns and cities focus on mobilizing resources to implement synchronous and drastic measures.
In particular, the Department requested localities to direct specialized units to receive sufficient vaccines and chemicals from the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine to vaccinate livestock on a large scale, focusing on fully vaccinating all types of vaccines, especially African swine fever vaccines for meat pigs.
At the same time, the authorities at commune, ward and town levels need to closely coordinate with specialized agencies in controlling the slaughter, transportation and trading of pigs and pig products. It is necessary to detect and strictly handle cases of trading and transporting sick or dead pigs to limit the risk of spreading pathogens. At the same time, guide people to apply biosecurity measures in livestock farming to proactively prevent epidemics.
The Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine is also assigned to coordinate with the Mobile Interdisciplinary Inspection Team for Disease Prevention and Control and the Provincial Steering Committee 389 to tighten the inspection of the transportation and trading of animals and animal products in accordance with regulations. At the same time, it is necessary to ensure good control of the quarantine process, slaughter and product circulation to thoroughly prevent the trading of infected pigs.
