Gia Lai: 1 gold medal, 3 silver medals at the national revolutionary song festival

(GLO)- On the evening of June 6, in Long Xuyen City, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with the People's Committee of An Giang province to close and award the 2025 Mass Art Performance of Revolutionary Songs.

The event took place from June 1 to 6, attracting 23 art troupes from provinces and cities across the country.

Coming to the Festival, the program of Dam San General Music and Dance Theater ( Gia Lai province) includes 5 performances: Singing to celebrate Hero Nup (singing and dancing); The ferryman on the Po Co River (solo); The people's will (dance); Celebrating the victory of the Central Highlands (group singing); The indomitable Central Highlands (traditional musical instrument ensemble).

As a result, at the award ceremony, the performance “Celebrating the victory of the Central Highlands” won the gold medal; the performances “Singing to celebrate the Nup Hero” and “Unconquerable Central Highlands” won the silver medal. The art program with the theme “Gia Lai – the heroic land” of the Dam San General Music and Dance Theater was awarded the silver medal. In addition, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Long - Director of the Theater - was also awarded a certificate of merit by the Organizing Committee.

The festival is a meaningful cultural activity for artists, actors, and artisans from all over the country to express their talents, creativity, and passion for art; thereby contributing to improving the quality of cultural and artistic activities at the grassroots level, promoting the image of the country and people of Vietnam with the aspiration of strength.
