According to the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development of Gia Loc district, up to now, the whole district has had over 44.8 hectares of greenhouse and net house area, exceeding nearly 1.5 times the Resolution of the District Party Congress for the 2020-2025 term (target of 30 hectares).

Greenhouses and net houses are concentrated in the communes: Pham Tran 28.5 ha, Dong Quang 7.1 ha, Gia Tan 3.2 ha, Toan Thang 2.3 ha, Nhat Tan 1 ha and scattered in some other localities.

Growing plants in greenhouses and net houses brings 30-50% higher economic value than mass production.

The area of ​​greenhouses and net houses in Nhat Tan, Gia Tan, Pham Tran, and Toan Thang communes has been supported by the Provincial People's Committee with 100,000 VND/m2 to build the model.

Models of growing cucumbers, melons, leafy vegetables, and producing seedlings... applying high technology in greenhouses and net houses bring economic value 30-50% higher than mass production.
